Apple Picking

What an nice time as a family we had last weekend on our day trip to the mountains to go apple picking. Something I had never done before was to go apple picking. I had done a little research online to find some apple orchards along the Blue Ridge Parkway. I had found one that was still open for pick your own apples. The only kind of apples left on the trees were Fuji. But they are one of the best, that's my opinion. Don't know if it is because we picked them ourselves or just because they are just so sweet and juicy. We picked a whole bushel. Now I got to get to baking an homemade apple pie. Madison has been bringing an apple each day to her teacher and bringing one for snack. Well you know what they say, "an apple a day keeps the Doctor away"! I also had to play a little with some a new digital kit. I have lots more layouts to make this is just one I made the other night.
