Paramount King's Dominion Park

In August this summer we took the girls to Paramount King's Dominion theme park, this year was Madison's turn to bring a friend. She was so excited that her friend Audra could go with us. They had a lot of fun in the park riding rides & getting their face painted.

Pictures I took from way up inside the Eiffel tower looking down on the park. That long very, very tall tower is the Drop Zone!!  Marty & Kaitlynn rode that one, they were not dragging me up there I stayed below and took pictures.

Back to School

Madison could barely get to sleep Monday night and she was up very early Tuesday morning awaiting time to get ready for her first day back to school (2nd Grade).

Kaitlynn was also excited to go to a new High School this year (10th Grade). She  has Drivers Ed first semester, I can hardly believe she is now old enough to drive.  All is good, the first day went well and they are both happy with all their teachers. I think this is going to be a good year!!

September Class Kit

I have completed the example for September's Class kit. I used the NEW clear scraps chipboard All Mixed Up album. Where each pages is longer than the other and the longest page measures 11" long and 5" tall. I was able to put in a lot of pictures in mine. I love the way it turned out. I am now taking sign ups for this class kit - Deadline for sign ups will be Tuesday September 2nd. All payments are due by September 12th.

Beach Class kit sneak Peek!!

It's been a long wait, but finally all materials are in for the Beach class kit. I will be very busy this weekend and next week working on the kits. I am hoping to have them all ready by 2nd week in September....maybe sooner!

Okay, here goes....Now I can tell you the big secret I've been keeping about the size of the album. I had the album itself cut to a custom size, just for this class. (A very unique size, not one you can buy of the shelf)  The album will measure 12" x 6" circular...that's right, think of a 12" circle cut in half with binding rings down the center. So when it's closed the album will be 12" x 6" with rounded edges, but when it's open it will measure a full size circle of 12" x 12" . The covers front & back will be thick clear acrylic and the pages inside will be chipboard. Colors are hues of teal blues, muted yellow, olive green & creamy vanilla. I love this color combo especially for beach pictures.

Elements for kit include: Scenic Route Laurel collection pattern papers, Scenic Route Rub ons, Scenic Route Cardstock Stickers, All cardstock is Bazzill 5 different colors, Clear Scraps XL clear brackets, 7 gypsies cardstock stickers, Making Memories Noteworthy ribbon, Stampin Up ribbons, Cloud 9 clear expoxy quotes.Plus I will be using various stamp sets through out the album.

mini summer kit

While I was at Mom's in Florida a few weeks ago I managed to squeeze in a little personal scrappin' time. Mom shared with me her mini summer class kit from her last class she taught at the Salvation Army 2 day Cropping event.  I was so lucky that she had saved an extra kit just for me!!! It was so fun putting it together. She had all the kit items all bagged up for me, but let me pick my own paper.... Of course I had to add more stamping and a little of my own "Tina Touches"" to mine. I really liked the way it turned out, so I thought I would share it with you. Now all I have to do is add my pictures.
